What made you decide to buy a house instead of renting?
We relocated to The Netherlands two years ago. Ever since we arrived, we’ve been renting. The rent kept increasing every year, which made us think about buying a house. We believe that buying a house would keep tabs on the continuously increasing rent. The equated monthly instalments are ‘our own savings’ compared to renting.

What did the process of buying a house look like?

Gaby helped structure the bid, which resulted in its acceptance. Learning the result of the bid was most memorable to us.

What surprised you about moving to The Netherlands and buying a house here?
Looking for a home in The Netherlands and the buying process is time-consuming, especially since you typically view multiple homes. We were very lucky to have seen the first house and knew that it would be our home. It was finalized quickly, which was a real surprise and unheard of before.

What are you looking forward to in your new home?
We have already moved in. What we loved was that the house was ready to move in. We didn’t have to do any renovations. It’s a beautiful house, and everyone in our family liked it.
